Zivid 3 is a family of industrial structured-light 3D cameras designed for robotic machine vision applications. The system integrates all required vision inputs into a single device, including high-resolution 2D color imaging, barcode reading, and precise 3D point cloud generation. This unified architecture simplifies system integration while delivering the performance required for advanced industrial robot manipulation.
Patrick Toner, VP of Sales and Marketing, Americas, commented on the recognition:
"This award reflects the hard work we have put into overcoming long-standing barriers that have limited adoption and deployment of 3D vision in robotics. Traditional 3D vision systems often struggle with ambient light, long working distances, mixed SKUs, challenging objects, and slow acquisition speeds. Zivid 3 is engineered to address these limitations, enabling customers to develop large-scale robotic depalletizing and bin-picking applications."
The VSD Innovators Awards, presented annually by Vision Systems Design, recognizes companies and innovators who have advanced technology through impactful and creative designs in machine vision. Honorees will be recognized during the award presentation ceremony at 11:00 a.m. CDT on June 22, 2026, at the Automate Show in Chicago, Illinois.
