Oslo/Munich/Karlsruhe – February 2026. Zivid, the leading provider of industrial 3D cameras for robotics applications, announces the realignment of its organisation in the DACH region. With a team of three, the Norwegian company is now focusing on intensified support for the German-speaking market, which is considered one of the most important growth drivers for automation in Europe.
Following the successful launch of the Zivid 3 and the further development of the Zivid 2+ R-series, the company is responding to the growing demand for precise image processing in logistics and manufacturing.
Anne-Cathrine Falk and Thomas Dörmer joined the commercial team on the 1st of February 2026. They complement Dr.-Ing. Valentin Schmidt, who has been responsible for technical integration at customer sites as a senior application engineer since the summer of 2025.

Thomas Dörmer is responsible for developing new customer relationships and innovative fields of application in the ‘New Ventures and Business Growth’ division. He brings with him many years of experience in automation, robotics and manufacturing process development.
Anne-Cathrine Falk is the Strategic Partnership and Business Growth Manager. She focuses on the further development of Zivid in the DACH region. Her experience in B2B and consumer goods markets, with a focus on sales, e-commerce and marketing, supports sustainable growth and the expansion of strategic partnerships.
With this realignment, Zivid is focusing on partnership-based cooperation for the development of long-term and sustainable customer relationships. This structure enables Zivid to guarantee short communication channels for system integrators and end users in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
