Zivid appoints MoviMED in North America →On the last day of January 2019, Torbjørn Røe Isaksen, Minister of Trade and Industry, and John-Arne Røttingen, CEO of the Research Council of Norway (NFR), visited the Zivid HQ.
Zivid received The Research Council of Norway’s Innovation Award for 2018, and with focus on long-term investment in research and innovation, the Norwegian Government granted Zivid and SINTEF additional research funds until 2022. The project focus is enhanced 3D color vision and algorithms for robot- and machine vision.

This is an example of years of fundamental research that spun out to a company with exciting and market leading technology.
The Minister of Trade and Industry appreciated the human-like vision for collaborative robots. Here he is with the ABB YuMi with Zivid 3D color vision.
